I am very excited to announce that I have a sponsor, enabling me to attend Cybher12. My kind and generous sponsors are...
I have been attending Pyjama Drama classes since May this year when Jane Cole started a franchise in my local area. All 3 of my children have attended at some point but now that Girl & Middle are at school it's just Tidgy that goes to a class.
Pyjama Drama sessions begin for 6 month old children and continue up to 7 years old, with carefully age differentiated classes so that children get the most benefit out of sessions. Each week has a different topic meaning that a class is never repeated. The sessions get a child's imagination fired up and my children have been fishing, travelling on boats, trains and planes, visiting the Queen or Grandma, learning about themselves, playing with dragons and much, much more. Classes are run by experienced drama teachers and the original music is skillfully integrated into the sessions. Pyjama Drama also work with schools, nurseries and Children's Centres.
In the few months that we have been attending Pyjama Drama I'm pleased to have seen the children, the boys in particular, flourish. Middle was very shy to start with but Jane let him settle in at his own pace by letting him watch and join in when he was ready. Her patience paid off as from week 4 he came out of his shell and went from the shyest child in class to the noisiest!!
Tidgy is now getting comfortable with the structure of the session and loves getting the musical instruments out. He's now at that age where he can follow and copy. It's lovely to see him interact with Jane and children of a similar age.
We have the cds at home and regularly have them playing. The children have their favourites and even Daddy joins in! Tidgy can now recognise the main Pyjama Drama song and starts dancing the instant it's on. Last night the children had me recreating a Pyjama Drama session and there was hell to pay when I got it in the wrong order!
I'm honoured to have Pyjama Drama as my sponsors.
