Review: Brio Wooden Sorting Box from Hello Baby

We've had a number of Brio toys over the years and what has always impressed me is how sturdy and well made they are. With heavy handed children you need something that will last and their wooden toys are perfect.


Tidgy was sent the Wooden Sorting Box from Hello Baby.

This sorting box is black and very striking. It looks very stylish. You get 6 wooden shapes in lovely bright colours, 2 each of triangle, cylinder and cube. There is a sliding base, which stays attached to the box, making it easy to retrieve the shapes. Tidgy likes placing the box upside down and putting the shapes in that way. What a cheater!

It has helped his hand-eye coordination and he has had a lot of fun trying to get the shapes into the right hole. Girl and Middle have also enjoyed playing with it and helping Tidgy out.

The eldest two had a few plastic shape sorters when they were younger but none looked as great as the Brio sorting box.
