Groupon Review

Groupon, for those that haven't heard of it before, is a website full of daily deals, some saving a huge percentage off the usual retail price. You can find deals for local services, getaways, electronics, jewellery, eating out, furniture and much more so when I was approached and asked if I'd like to review Groupon I jumped at the chance.

The best way to get the deals is to have them delivered into your inbox so every morning I have a look through the emails to see what's on offer.

Ever since going digital I haven't complied any photo albums so I thought it would be nice to put together a photo book. The deal I went for was a photo book from Photobox with a whopping saving of up to 72% off.

It was really easy to order the deal. I paid with my voucher and once the deal had ended I went into my account details for the code. What I really liked was the length of time I had before I needed to use the voucher (2 February 2013) as I didn't want to be rushed when trying to fill 100 pages of photos but it actually didn't take long to find nearly 300 photos! Using the Photobox website itself was simple. There were lots of styles of photobok to choose from and had I been so inclined I could have played around with the layout to get it just so but instead I used Photobox's auto format. It did take a couple of hours to upload but that's to be expected with so many pictures. Already my photo book is in the mail and I can't wait to receive it.

I then used the remainder of my voucher to buy Charlie a Darth Vader Lego watch for his birthday from The Hut. This was another easy order. I added my groupon offer code to my order on the website and that was it. Within 24 hours the watch was on its way to me.

As with all deals it pays to research what you're getting and most products involve paying out for postage but you can get some great bargains on here. Next, I'll be looking out for a cheap pampering day ;-)

*I received a £40 voucher from Groupon to spend on deals. All opinion is honest and based upon my personal experience.
