Homemade Halloween Lanterns

Inspired by Jen from Mum In The Madhouse we decided to make our own Halloween glass jar lanterns for the Spooky City Parade in Norwich tomorrow evening.

I've been saving up our glass jars for a while so all we needed to get was some children's halloween tights and lights (from the children's current favourite shop, Poundland!). We couldn't find any battery powered tea lights but we found some lovely star lights instead and they'll double up as Christmas decorations!

The lanterns were really easy to make and the children loved how cool they looked when we took them out for a trial run tonight.

Happy Halloween!
