Spring Craft with Yellow Moon

Spring is my favourite time of year, with new beginnings, the garden coming to life with flowers starting to bloom and the warmer weather on the way and our latest parcel from the Yellow Moon Bloggers' Network brought us a colourful range of  Spring and Easter themed crafty treats.

The bunting contained a selection of Easter images and we all sat colouring in and catching up on what we'd been doing that day. It was lovely to have some quality, and quiet,  family time!

We've got a bit of an obsession with washi tape and decopatch in this house at the moment so the eggs and bird gift boxes were perfect for these. The washi tape is simple enough for Harry to use and doesn't create any mess (bonus!) but it looks great. Molly also wrapped multi-coloured wool around an egg and embellished it with the strips of adhesive gems. I think they look really pretty, especially from our home made ornament tree. The Easter Grass came in handy for covering up the bags I'd used to fix the tree into the jug.

The Spring Craft Kit comes with a range of paper, card, gems and ribbon for a number of Spring craft activities. So far we've only got round to making one of the baskets and the Easter card but there are also hanging birds, a decorative bird house and more to make. Full instructions are included. Some of the tracing and cutting can be a little bit fiddly so this pack might be more suitable for an older child, or with lots of help from an adult.
