Summer Holiday Questionnaire~Molly

I've seen a few of these floating around on the internet recently and I thought I'd take part with the eldest two and compare the answers year upon year (if I ever remember to do it again!) I didn't ask Harry as his stock answer to any question asked these days is "I don't know".

I started with Molly first;

Age 11

What was your favourite day out? RAF Scampton Family Day, particularly seeing the Red Arrows display.

What was your least favourite thing about the summer holidays? Mum having to work as it meant the 4 of us weren't a family (She forgot that Dad has to work many more days than Mum in the holidays!)

What are you most looking forward to in the next few months? Starting high school.

Who is your best friend? Abi C.

What do you wish we'd done? Gone on holiday. Somewhere abroad, on a plane.

What thing about school are you most looking forward to? Drama as I've never done it before.

Least favourite thing about school? Not sure. I'm looking forward to everything.

Who are you most looking forward to seeing? Brooke. Until the transition day in July I hadn't seen her since we left Brownies in 2014.

What was the most memorable day of the summer holidays (good or bad)? Getting to touch a Red Arrow at Norwich Airport and seeing them at RAF Scampton.

Have you made any new friends this summer? No.

Did you go away? On my own to Nanny's for my birthday treat, me & my brothers to Grandma & Grandad's for 4 days, and all of us overnight in Lincolnshire.

Did you discover any new places? Lynn Museum and Overstrand beach.

Were you bored at any point? If so, when & why? Yes, on the days when Mum worked in the morning and we had a quiet afternoon at home afterwards.

Do you prefer trips to the beach or park? Beach if I can swim in the sea and go body-boarding.

Did you learn anything new this summer? I can swim better now and I learnt lots of Red Arrows facts thanks to our cousin Scott who works for them and I also learnt to do the Cup Song from Pitch Perfect.

Do you think 6 weeks is too long or did it go too fast for you? Just about right.
