Project 366 14th-19th March 2016

There was such a beautiful sunset on Monday night. Usually the blinds are shut so I miss sights like this but with the evenings getting lighter I'm hoping we get to see more.

Harry dishing up the childrens' desserts. he got a bigger portion than the others….of course!

Charlie had a friend round after school so we grabbed some footballs and headed to the park near to our house. They had a great kick about for an hour and then we went home to make pizza. N is one of the sweetest, kindest, politest and funniest of Charlie's friends and it's always a pleasure having him at ours.

We recently paid for National Trust membership as they had a great offer on and I was itching to use it before the school holidays so a friend and I spent the morning at Blickling Hall. We started off with the lakeside walk followed by a wander around the gardens and then stopped off for a bacon butty and cake (we'd earned it!) before heading into the house. Each room had us exclaiming 'Wow!' and the 123ft long library with over 12,000 books blew me away. It is one of the most amazing rooms I have ever seen. I can't wait to go back with the children, although I'm sure they won't appreciate the property as much as I do!

We met friends at Funky's after school on Friday so that the boys could burn off some energy and Molly could go roller skating. Molly was a little clumsy (while wearing skates) and as she was reaching up for something she lost balance and started rolling towards this man sitting at a table and she almost landed on top of him. His face was a picture and so was hers. She was so embarrassed but couldn't stop sneaking odd looks at him every so often.

We came home from shopping and the children all disappeared upstairs and were scarily quiet. I popped up to see what they were doing and they'd turned Harry's bed into a tent and were peacefully watching Harry Potter on my laptop. Bless 'em!
