th: I had finished all of my chores indoors and it was a beautiful warm and sunny day so I sat outside for a half hour break and to finish my book. I love days like this!
th: Today was very different from yesterday-it was really miserable and wet. I had a few errands to run in the city so as I was car-less I caught the bus in and felt thoroughly fed up but these guys (Swervy World) were playing some fabulously upbeat swing tunes and brightened the morning up. I wish I'd filmed them.
th: Another wet day and I was doing the school run for the first time this week so I parked up early and enjoyed some more reading time before picking the children up. I was reading Seven Little Australians which I'd purchased for Charlie's Australian project but he never got round to finishing it in time. It's a quaint little book but has a very sad ending.
th: We're still adjusting to a smaller house so I'm still trying to clear out things that are not used or needed. I mentioned to Charlie that he hadn't played with his wrestling set for at least 6 months and I would sell it, which he agreed to, but ever since that conversation he has played with it every day!
th: My Mum's partner treated himself to a motorbike for his recent birthday and he has been dying to show it off to the boys. He turned up this afternoon and Harry couldn't resist trying it out (and annoying the neighbours with the revving of the engine. Oops!)
