Project 366 15th-29th June 2016

After a week without a laptop, no back up and an SD card in my phone that decided to wipe all recent photos I can finally catch up on Project 366, albeit with a few missing!

/6 Beautiful, fragrant roses at work

/6 I was in Cromer for the day as I had a hospital appointment. I had planned to spend a few hours on the beach but the weather was awful. In between showers I made it up to Cromer lighthouse and Happy Valley. Despite visiting Cromer dozens of times since we moved to Norfolk I have never seen the lighthouse.

/6 Father's Day and the Norfolk Food & Drink Festival. Hubby wanted to go so we could take part in Battle of the Bangers. Harry asked for candy floss…it was huge!

/6 An after-school trip to the park to get some photos for a review and while there I asked the children if they could pose for a nice photo together for their grandparents. This was the best!!

/6 For Mother's Day Molly bought me tickets for the Bowie Experience at Norwich Theatre Royal. Having seen some poor tribute acts in the past my expectations were low but this was brilliant. I would say it's the closest you could get the the real deal.

/6 Charlie had been really ill with constant migraines for most of the week and hadn't been eating much so when he asked for a Mcdonald's I was happy to take him but I hadn't factored in the torrential rain we'd had and the awful state of the roads. It was the scariest drive of my life and I would never want to go out in that again. Next time he can make do with a sandwich!!

/6 Finally some flowers in our garden!

/6 We hired a boat and cruised along Wroxham Broads for Molly's birthday trip out. After steering the boat for a short while she said it was the 'best birthday ever'!

/6 Face painting at the charity open day at Bishop's Garden in Norwich. The children rarely have face painting done as it's so pricey but this was a bargain £2 (and for charity!)

/6 The birthday girl opening presents before school.

/6 Wearing one of her favourite presents. It goes on as soon as she gets home from school and doesn't come off until bedtime-no matter what we're doing!
