Yvolution Y Glider Scooter *review*

The Yvolution Y Glider Scooter is ideal for little ones learning to scooter for the first time. With the summer finally here, albeit a typically British one at the moment, it's time to get the children outdoors and on the move.

Having 3 children means we've been through a number of scooters over the years and we have found that the cheap ones just don't last. The fittings wear loose quickly and my goodness they are so noisy and rattle-y!

The instructions are clear and it was really easy to put together - the handlebar just needed clicking into the main unit so Harry was soon ready to go.

Harry is a little older than most first time scooters but he still occasionally struggles with steering. The unique 'learn to steer' method on the Y Glider is more in line naturally with childrens' development of motor skills and it can help to develop their balance and co - ordination.  He soon got the hang of it and was whizzing up and down the park.

Yvolution have included some safety advice in their instruction booklet. Some of it may seem like simple common sense but you'd be amazed how fast children, especially daredevil Harry, can go on a scooter so a helmet is an absolute must!

It's a really sturdy scooter of high quality and is well made. The handlebars are comfortable and the footplate is of a good size and has plenty of grip. I really appreciate how quiet it is! Harry loves riding it and takes it wherever it's possible to scooter. We definitely recommend buying one this summer.

Yvolution sell a range of scooters and balance bikes on their website www.yvolution.com
The Y Glider Deluxe is available in blue, pink and green RRP £39.99
