Summer Holiday Questionnaire 2017-Harry

Today is the last day of the school holiday so it's time for me to quiz the children about what they thought of this summer and compare it to last year

Age
7

Describe yourself in 3 words
Savage, funny and huggy

What was your favourite day out?
Cromer beach when we sat at the water's edge daring each other to stay there until the tide got us

What are you looking forward to over the next few months?
New school, new teacher, new friends

What day did you enjoy least this summer?
Mum working and then it raining when she got home so we didn't go out

Who is your best friend?
Eleanor, Holly, Lily and Max

What do you wish we had done?
Gone to Legoland (same as last year!)

What are you most looking forward to at school?
Playtimes and lunchtimes with my friends

What are you not looking forward to?
Not sure

Who are you most looking forward to seeing again?
Eleanor

What was your most memorable day this summer-good or bad
Swimming on holiday

Did you make any new friends?
No.

Did you go away?
Yes, in a caravan

Did you discover any new places?
Highwoods Country Park in Colchester

Were you bored at any point? If so when and why?
No, I don't think so

Do you prefer to go to the beach or park?
I love both too much to decide on one

Did you learn anything new over the summer?
I learnt which Red Arrow plane has our name on it (from the Names on a Plane fundraiser)

6 weeks-does it go too fast or is it too long?
It went too quickly

This summer has been very different from last year as I now have two jobs and have spent most of the holiday working so we've had less time together. Thankfully it doesn't seem to have bothered the children too much, although I still feel guilty that we didn't pack in as much as previous years.
