Buyagift Super Mum competition

Buyagift are running a competition to find a Super Mum for Mother's Day and the winner of the competition will be treated to a spa day plus luxury dining experience with whoever they nominated.

Mandy has been a rock throughout my life. As there are only 12 years between us she was like a big sister to me and now she’s like a second Mum to me.

She has always been there for me. Even when her family were posted to Germany she was there at the end of the phone and we exchanged regular letters, one of which she found recently where I’d written that I’d just walked downstairs! I never was much good with words ;-)

Whenever I have a problem she is the first person I turn to and she has always been full of wisdom and supportive words.

Her life is devoted to helping others. She looked after her elderly Great Aunt and when we sadly had to move my Grandad into a nursing home after a stroke she was up there every day making sure he was comfortable and well cared for. She also made sure my Nanna was looked after and never lonely.

Much laughter is guaranteed whenever we’re with her. She comes out with some howlers like asking me recently “How old will I be when I’m 50?”

A Mandy Makeover!

Nanna and Grandad are no longer with us and I know she is terribly lost without them, even more so with her husband working away all week and her son living with his new little family miles away so I would love to be able to make one day all about her.She deserves to be looked after.
