'Each player tries to find a place for his tiles on his play boards faster than the others. But leaving spaces at the right spots, that’s the art of the game! Because you only get a lot of points when the open spaces display the highest numbers and no tile protrudes! Can you do the tricky puzzle challenges just in time?'
Just in Time is suitable for 8 years+ but Charlie (6) enjoyed it as much as the rest of us and was more than capable than playing, although he often likes to team up with his Dad.
There are 10 cards for each player, each needing 3, 4 or 5 tiles. A separate card tells you which tiles to pick and then you each try to fit your shaped tiles on the card but you have to leave as many of the numbered squares blank to get the highest score possible. Once you've completed your card you shout out to your opponents and they have until the timer runs out to try to complete their card. The winner is the person with the highest score at the end of the 10 rounds.
It's a fun and fast-paced game, particularly when your opponent sets the timer for the rest of you to finish before the sand runs out!
We all have a great time playing Just In Time and it encourages the childrens' problem-solving skills.
Just In Time gets big thumbs up from this family!
