Molly and Charlie were having a debate over something the other day and Molly finished her argument with "That's ritually the truth, honest!"
Molly was talking to her Grandma about what we'd done the day before and it went like this...
"We went to Burger King...or was it KFC? Anyway we went there at lunchtime...or was it dinner time? Oh, I can't remember. My memory is going as I'm getting old" She's 8.
On a rainy weekend we were all discussing what to do. Charlie suggested we went swimming but I said we couldn't as I needed to shave my legs. Molly was incredulous "Don't they allow you in the pool if you've got hairy legs?!"
Molly was testing me on a Jacqueline Wilson quiz and one of the questions was 'Which city was Jacqueline born in?' I didn't know the answer so she read it out "Bath. That can't be right, they must mean Bathalona' I was rolling on the floor laughing. Bless her little cotton socks!
