TalkTalk Box Office

The dreaded sickness bug caught up with me again on Friday & Saturday and while hubby was out ferrying Charlie to and from his panto rehearsals I had to somehow occupy Molly and Harry. It seemed like the perfect time to try out the Box Office on our TalkTalk tv!

It's really easy to navigate and the children soon agreed on a film to watch. As well as recent film releases there are older films available too; Elf, Hop, Coraline, The Simpsons, Turner & Hooch and many, many more.

Some new films are even available on the same day as being released on DVD. Hubby & I rarely get to the cinema and we're eagerly awaiting the opportunity to watch Hunger Games Mockingjay.

You can search for a particular film or browse the categories. There are so many to choose from that you can't fail to find something to watch.

Categories include Family, Christmas, Films from £1 and Recently Added
Once you've made your selection you just enter your pin (we'd forgotten ours but it was quickly found within the My Account section on the TalkTalk website) and the film will start within seconds. Films are available to rent for 48 hours from the time of purchase and they can be watched as many times as you want during that period.

We have dozens of DVDs but the children have watched each one so many times it's great to watch something different and it's so handy to have our own Box Office at home instead of needing to traipse down to the library-which has a poor selection anyway and isn't always open when we need it.

I can see that this is going to be used a lot, especially on those cold winter nights when we want to snuggle up on the sofa and the tv is full of repeats.
