BFG 100 XXL Puzzle from Ravensburger

One of the most eagerly awaited films for us this summer is The BFG based on the classic Roald Dahl story. Ravensburger have released a BFG puzzle to coincide with the release of the film.

It's a beautiful picture of Sophie gazing upwards in awe while she is balanced upon the feet of the BFG.

We have reviewed a number of Ravensburger puzzles and games over recent years and we've never been disappointed by them. The pieces are well cut and fit together easily. They're also sturdy, which means the puzzles can be made and re-made time and time again.

Sorting the pieces out

It's aimed at children 6yrs+ but Harry needed quite a bit of help with this one, although he is only just 6. There are a few patches of the puzzle which are very similarly coloured but we do love a challenge! The eldest two managed to make it by themselves, although taking a little longer to complete it. If a puzzle can be finished in a matter of minutes it can't be much fun- the more challenging the better.

The final piece

When finished the puzzle measures approximately 14 x 19 inches and would look lovely framed if you didn't want to re-make it.

As with all Ravensburger products that we've had we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this and it would make the perfect gift for any Roald Dahl fan aged from 6 to 96.

The RRP for the puzzle is £7.99 and the film will be in UK cinemas from 22nd July.

*We were sent the BFG puzzle FOC for the purposes of this review. All opinion is honest and based upon our own experiences of the product.
