Whenever we pop into the city on a warm day and it's lunchtime we go to the market and get chips from Lucy's. They're some of the best I've ever had!
This little monkey didn't want me taking photos of him while we wandered around Eaton Park but I caught him! I love his smile.
Harry wanted to take his bike to the local park after school so I took my camera and wandered around while he & his siblings were racing around. I love the colour of these berries.
We've had some amazing sunrises lately and this was just another stunner seen from my bedroom window.
While I was washing up at work I saw this little fella out of the kitchen window. Sadly my phone zoom is rubbish so this was the best I could get. I spent ages watching him until a neighbour's cat scared him off.
Molly found this ladybird (or bishy barnabee to Norfolk folk) in the car. We have seen loads, which seems unusual for this time of year.
Sat in the village hall car park killing time before Harry went to his home school we saw this small section of rainbow.
The in laws took us bowling when we went to see them in Suffolk. Charlie is celebrating his strike-the only one of the game.
Playing in the leaves at Waterloo Park. If Harry's not jumping in piles of them he's throwing them up in the air.
After work we went into the city to wander around and go to the library. The Forum was also hosting a Science Festival and Harry loved dressing up.
25th of October but it was warm enough to eat ice-cream and not wear a jumper!
We needed to make ourselves scarce as hubby had a really important conference call so after work I picked the children up and we went to Mousehold Heath to wander among the peace and quiet. The children had a great time finding fungi, different types of leaves and berries and climbing trees.
A day spent at Felbrigg walking through the woods and den building. You can see which one is very much in control of the building here!
I popped out to pick up my prescription and although it was a horrible trip and had me moaning (only half a presciption and it took me 25 minutes to travel 2 miles) I certainly wasn't complaining about the sight of another gorgeous sunset when I got home.
Another day of dining outside. Something we really didn't expect to do at the end of October! We took a trip to Great Yarmouth and it was gorgeous. I told the children to wrap up warm as it's often a lot chillier by the time we get to the coast but the boys stripped off their coats and jumpers!
I'd been indoors all day baking, doing chores and cooking a roast while Charlie was at football and then at a birthday party so Molly, Harry and I went for a walk. Molly told us a scary story on the walk and then Harry told us one of his own. It was completely made up on the spot and very very funny, although not very scary. Molly and I couldn't stop laughing but we were really impressed with his storytelling skills.
Halloween is a bit of a non-event for us this year as Charlie's at Cubs tonight and we can't go trick or treating or to the Spooky Parade in the city as we won't have time. My washing line was covered in cobwebs this morning though so that's probably as decorated as we're going to get! Next door has gone all out though and her house, inside and out, is swamped with decorations.
