We popped into the city for a few things and stumbled across an African and Caribbean market at the Forum. There was some beautiful handmade goods being sold indoors and some great entertainment outside.
While Charlie was at football and I was baking for the week ahead Molly had some Funky Owls 3D puzzles to review. You can see what she thought here
The boys had been ill with a sickness bug and I couldn't go to work so a walk to Tesco for a loaf of bread in the evening was the highlight of my day!
The boys were still off school but starting to feel a little better so we went down the road for a lap of the park so that they'd had a little fresh air. I love how Harry was looking after his big bro.
This is our latest review book but I've been too tired to start it. I finally found time to read a few chapters and it's stunning.
Harry was adamant that he was still too poorly for school-said as he was running around the driveway waiting for his taxi to school!
I popped to Tesco with Molly to get a few bits and saw this. I haven't had it since I was little. I played the advert on Youtube to Molly and as I sang along she looked at me like I'd lost my mind. After that came the Kia-Ora advert and again I was singing along. According to Molly we were all very weird in the 80s!
My entire week was spent at home dealing with the sickness bug as me & the children all came down with it so it was refreshing to get out in the sunshine on Saturday. We weren't in the city long but the chips from the market were the best thing I'd eaten/done all week!
Harry decided to help with the banana bread and fruit scones this week. He was really helpful and loved contributing towards their home packed lunches.
It's really faint but rainbows always make me smile.
As I was setting the dining table in the conservatory I spotted another rainbow so I ran into the kitchen to grab my camera, slipped in my stupid slippers and nearly came a cropper. No photo is worth falling over but I was really pleased with this one!!
There was a beautiful sunset as Charlie began football training. I could have taken a better photo but it was freezing so I stayed in the car!
Harry didn't realise I was watching him writing on the car bonnet until he heard the click of the camera. He carried on though!
A long-awaited girly night out at the theatre on Friday watching these fellas stripping off. When I told Charlie what I was going to see he was incredulous that anyone would want to see people getting naked. I told him he'd get it when he's older.....
