Disney Castle 3D Puzzle from Ravensburger *review*

We were asked if we'd like to review the Disney Castle 3D puzzle from Ravensburger and of course we said yes! The puzzle is recommended for age 12+ but I don't think you can ever grow out of Disney.

The main castle building is made up of 216 strong plastic pieces with easy-click technology. The decoration is peel-resistant and of high quality. As with all Ravensburger 3D puzzles that we've made in the past no glue is needed for assembly. The main walls, towers, crenellations and turrets are made up of separate pieces. (I did have some photos of the components and tower panels but I've had an issue with my camera and lost a number of images)

Each piece is numbered on the reverse and they also have arrows on. The step by step instructions in the brochure are really easy to follow or you could construct the castle by eye if you fancy more of a challenge.

Molly managed to make most of the castle unaided but the main roof was a little trickier to get on and the structure needed a little manipulation for it to click into place tightly. I think the hinged corner pieces needed to be folded a little closer so that the structure was uniform and straight all the way around but with a little wiggling it was soon in place.

Once finished the castle stands at an impressive 46.3 x 26.9 x 49.6 cms. It really is a stunning castle and would make a great talking point on display in any room.

There are over 100 Disney characters dotted around the castle from the classics e.g, Mickey, Belle, Pinocchio and Dumbo, right up to modern characters like Anna & Elsa, Wall-E and Wreck It Ralph. Charlie was really pleased to see his favourite Peter Pan on there and each of the children have spent time trying to spot all of the characters but they haven't quite managed it yet!

This would make a fantastic present for any lover of Disney characters and beautiful 3D puzzles to keep on display or to use with Disney figures.

It can be bought from Amazon: click here for more info and the RRP is £49.99

*We were sent the puzzle FOC for the purposes of this review. All opinion is honest and based upon our own experiences of the product.
