Ravensburger Funky Owls 3D Puzzle Range

Ravensburger have two ranges of 3D puzzles aimed at girls aged 7+; Funky Owls and Unicorns.

Each range has a vanity box, vase, pencil holder and a jewellery tree. We were sent 3 items from the Funky Owls range to review.

Molly started with the 56 piece pencil pot. The instructions are simple and easy to follow and each of the pieces are numbered and have arrows on so you can't go wrong. Molly finished this one in a matter of minutes.

The 216 piece vanity box took her about half an hour to complete and was a really good size. The top rim took a little while to fit on properly and we needed to wiggle a few of the puzzle pieces around the top row to get it to click into place but once it fitted it was on securely. For this part your child may need a little adult assistance but everything else Molly was able to do herself. She really liked the moveable tray with the vanity box as she's forever losing little hairclips and bands so this should keep them in one place!

Last up was the 216 piece vase. Molly needed a little help at the start as the pieces needed to fit around the bottom plastic ring but they didn't actually click into place until the last piece of the row was in place so it was a little fiddly for her. After that she was able to complete it herself although Charlie came along to help by passing her pieces in number order. The vase can be used with artificial flowers or fresh as there's a water container included which slots into the bottom of the vase. Molly's looking forward to being able to choose some flowers to brighten up her bedroom.

 They make a colourful addition to any girl's room and they're useful too! 

As we've come to expect with the many Ravensburger puzzles that we've had over the years, particularly the 3D puzzles, they are of high quality, sturdy plastic and the pieces fit perfectly. The instructions are always easy to follow too.

These would make a great Christmas or birthday presents.
