Buggaloop Board Game *review*

Buggaloop from Ravensburger is a fun family game for 2-4 players. The aim of the game is to be the first player to get your 3 coloured bugs across the board before the hexbug nano v2 comes scurrying out from underneath and potentially knocking your bugs out of play.

It's really easy to set up and each of the games we have played last about 15-20 minutes. The more players the better because it's a little more hectic with more bugs in play.

The hexbug is placed into one of the tunnels and players take it in turns to roll the dice and move spaces. As soon as the bug comes scuttling out if the tunnel play freezes until the bug returns under the board. If any of your bugs have been knocked completely out of their circle you have to move it back to the start. If it's still touching part of the circle, or indeed any circle, you are still in play. If you're lucky your bug may be safe from the hexbug if you're on top of one of the 4 stands.

All three of my children love this game because it's quick to set up and easy to play. They enjoy the hectic race to get as far across the board as they can before the hexbug creates havoc. With gameplay being 20 minutes or less it's perfect for Harry, who struggles to keep interested in long-winded games.

We highly recommend Buggaloop and it would make a great present for Christmas or birthday for anyone aged 6+

We still play our other hexbug game Bugs In The Kitchen regularly.

*We received Buggaloop FOC for the purposes of  a review. All opinion is honest and based upon our own experiences of the product.
