Uncle Milton Star Wars Science

Uncle Milton have a range of Star Wars products that also teach elements of science.

With the Star Wars Force Spinners you learn about magnetism. The Spacecraft Flight Lab teaches you flight dynamics with motorised paper spacecraft and you can conduct up to 20 different electronic experiments with the Death Star Electronics Lab. Take a look at Flair plc to see the other items in the range.

We were sent the Force Lightning Energy Ball where you're able to harness the power of energy like a Sith Lord and move plasma energy with your fingers.

We've seen many plasma balls at science fairs and shows and the children are fascinated by how they work. They love watching their hands moving the neon streams across the ball to make patterns and they try to catch all of the plasma.

A brief but handy guide is included, which is really handy as I had no clue about explaining plasma energy to the children (I failed GCSE science!)

It's really easy to assemble with just two pieces of plastic to click onto the base and is powered by 4 AA batteries (not included).

I have to admit to it being a bit smaller than I first expected but its size is just right for childrens' hands and it makes a great focal point in their bedroom. Often the boys just switch it on to watch the filaments flickering around by themselves and it looks awesome in the dark (something my camera unfortunately couldn't capture well).

It's a great gift for a Star Wars fan, especially with upcoming release of Star Wars: Rogue One close to Christmas.

The Uncle Milton Star Wars range can be purchased from Flair plc and the RRP for the Force Lightning Energy Ball is £24.99

*We were sent the product FOC for the purposes of this review. All opinion is honest and based upon our own experiences of the product.
