Project 366 23rd November-12th December 2016

I got off the bus a few stops early so that I could walk to the train station via the scenic route, I love these houses along the Quay Side with the Cathedral spire in the background.

We've made many of our Christmas decorations this year. This banner was the first. It took quite a while to finish but the children love it.

Harry had been poorly with another UTI and as much as I hate my children being ill I loved our time on the sofa snuggling up together and watching movies.

Norwich has an amazing tunnel of light this year, along with festive projection shows on the City Hall and Castle.

Blickling Hall & Estate was lit up for the festive season for two weekends in early December. It was absolutely stunning and a great start to Christmas.

Sunday night is bath night and cuddling up to catch up on reading night!

The sunrise over the local park was stunning so on the way back from the school I grabbed my camera and went for a walk.

Another Christmas make.

We've had some amazing skies this autumn and this one was no exception. It was taken from the the landing one evening.

I missed a bus home after a day of retail therapy with my Aunt but I didn't mind as it gave me more time to watch the projections on the castle.

There's something magical about rainbows. I saw this one when I was waiting to pick the children up from school.

Molly & Harry went to stay at Nan's so Charlie, Hubby and I went out for a drive to Cromer, not realising it was the switch on of the Christmas lights. It was a lovely evening with the streets full of people, stalls and entertainment.

Harry's last school photo at his SRB unit as he returns to his 'home' school in January. Such a lovely smile from my little man.

He was not happy that I was trying to snap a photo!

I generally dislike graffiti but I love the Bill & Ted inspired message on this one :)

Another beautiful sky.

Charlie offered to cook dinner in preparation for me being off my feet for 6 weeks. He made cheesy mash and sausage whirls. It was delicious and he did a great job. Next I need to train him to do the washing up!

Holiday are coming....
The coke lorry paid a visit to Norwich on Thursday so we popped along for a look. The city was manic though and we didn't bother to queue up for a mini can of coke.

On the way to his friend's birthday party Harry unexpectedly threw up in the car. he'd not complained of feeling ill so it was a real shock. He spent the rest of the day asleep on the living room floor, finally moving at 9.30pm to go to bed.

After no sickness for 36 hours and Harry feeling much brighter we popped out for a bit to Highways Garden Centre. The children loved this dress up section.

Paranoid about catching the sickness bug before my op I spent a few nights on the sofa. It was uncomfortable but the upside is that I had plenty of time to catch up on films I'd had recorded for a while. It also meant I was on my own when sobbing my heart out to the ending of Philadelphia!!
